However, "GHOST OF OUR LOVE" does not try you with a strong opponent or complex puzzle. This is because you have to identify the mysterious room drawn on the treasure map, the s o-called "candle floating map". "The Ghost of Our Love is one of the most creative side quests in Hogwarts. This side quest guide applies to the unique PC version of Hogwarts Legacy, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Switch version released in November 2023.

This guide tells you the location of the floating candle map to launch the quest "The Spirit of Our Love", and will explain a detailed procedure that will definitely be useful to reach the space on the treasure map.

  How to Start the Ghost of Our Love Side Quest

  After attending all classes and completing the Kikest "Merlin's Trial", a message arrives at the owlumer and a new quest related to a specific residence is assigned. Regardless of the selected residence, all of these branch quests lead you to the spirit Richard Jackdow and head to the area where you can find a map of candles.

  In addition, the floating map of candles cannot be obtained unless you start clearing the corresponding Jackdo mission.

  Now that you have started Chew's quest on housing, you can search the districts for the floating candle map.

  Gryffindor Map with Floating Candles Location

  While searching for the missing page, Headless Nick will introduce you to Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore, who is in the cemetery north of Hogsmeade. After the conversation, go to the tomb to the right of the entrance to the catacombs. Here, collect the card with the floating candle.

  If you are Zwaderich, you need to complete the quest "Scrop's Last Dream" and go to Apollonia's Grotto. The cave is located under Hogwarts and has a crimson squid painted on the wall. Place the toast on the pedestal to reveal a secret area. Inside, look to the right and you will find a box with a floating candle map.

  After talking with Ollivander, head to the "Owl Room" in the southwest of Hogwarts. When you reach the top floor of the Owl House, go to the south side of the building and you will find the floating candle map on the ground.

  In Upper Hogsfield, search the house directly behind the merchant Claire Beaumont's shop. To the right of the door, you will find a treasure chest. Open it to get the Floating Candle Map.

  Reminder!

  The "Ghost of Our Love" treasure can only be found at night. If it is not night yet, open the map and press the right analog joystick (R3 on PlayStation, RS on Xbox) or the F button on PC to "wait".

  To find the location of the floating candles on the map, go to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest. From there, go a few steps west and cast the Lumos spell when you approach the stone bridge. You will see three floating candles, so follow them to enter the Forbidden Forest.

  You don't have to enter the forest, but remember that the Forbidden Forest is full of various dangers, and completing the side missions will not make them less dangerous.

  Floating the candles will eventually lead you to a romantic candle-lit table for two. To the right of the table you will find a chest with random equipment and 400 Galleons, and you will also get 180 XP for completing this side mission!
