NPCMod and Addons

NPCMOD is a modified project by the community. Originally, it was started with Sphereii and Xyth in A16, but the team continues to grow with the alpha version. The purpose of this project is to provide a "core" function and template that Modder can be used to add hig h-performance characters to your MOD. There are two major modlet, both needed to operate this mod. Modlet 0-Score contains C#code, and 0-XNPCCORE contains XML and templates.

Designed, this MOD recommends expanding with an extended pack. Character packs that focus on one type of creature, such as 1-Soldier packs and 1-Spider packs, add new characters to 0-XNPCCORE. The 2-Soldier faction pack can add different factions with the same soldier model to 1-Soldier Pack. The scope of 0-, 1-, -2 indicates dependence on another Modlet with a lower prefix. Other character Moder promises to provide additional characters using this MOD pack, like the POI (building) collection called Compopack. Features

  • This MOD contains a Unity Tutorial Project (sold separately), including MOD controllers, templates, and scripts, so you can easily create new characters.

NPC Controls

  • The user interface has some duplicated words and needs improvement, Sirillion offered to update.
    • Hired NPCs have all the potential of Leroy Jenkins to brutal animals, use the command interface to get more control.
    • Detecting NPCs from close combat by crawling through grass is not as good as ranged combat, but it works.

    Known Issues

    • NPCMOD-SP-0039: Service-to-Other NPCs spawned with "passive" sleep volume do not move when recruited.
    • NPCMOD-SP-0044: NPCs in close combat have a high chance of hitting caterpillars on the lane correctly, but not necessarily in the grass.
    • NPCMOD-SP-0048: NPCs in combat have a chance to talk to the player until they are killed by the enemy.
    • NPCMOD-SP-0049: If you set the respawn CVar to 0, NPCs will respawn the same near their minions. They are more likely to follow the footsteps of the changing SCore, so a CVar value of 1 will cause them to degenerate. If you don't have access to CVar or the value is 0, they will not respawn.
    • NPCMOD-SP-0050: NPCs coming from far away combat sometimes don't hit as well as they would otherwise. They are more likely to accumulate debuffs.
    • NPCMOD-SP-0051: NPCs sometimes use trader voice.
